  • 6.14.2

v6.14.2 of FiLMiC Pro includes general performance improvements, as well as a brand new feature for M1 iPad Pros:

    **M1 iPad Pro Only**:

    — Advanced Scopes for M1 iPad Pros: If you happen to have a new M1 iPad Pro then you get access to a brand new advanced scopes view for external displays - perfect for studio use!

    - - When connected to an external display via HDMI or Airplay, you can now cycle between Clean HDMI Out and Scopes under the ‘Settings’ > ‘Hardware’ menu, and once connected - from the main UI.

    - - The external scopes view will give you a professional false color map; a vectorscope; an RGB parade; audio meter; and detailed clip information including CMS.

    — Center Stage support: this is enabled under iOS Settings > FiLMiC Pro > Center Stage. Once enabled under your system settings it will be available in FiLMiC Pro. Please note that at present on iOS, this feature needs to be enabled and disabled under iOS system settings, and not in FiLMiC Pro.

    **All models of iPhone/iPad**:

    — Lots of minor bug fixes for a smoother shooting experience.

    — Horizontal image flip and vertical image flip (35mm lens adapter) can now be enabled concurrently.

    — Live analytics no longer available on iPhone 6s/6s+/SEgen1 when in 4K to improve capture reliability. Max frame rate for Log capture has been reduced to 25fps to improve frame rate adherence.

  • 6.14.0

v6.14.0 of FiLMiC Pro is a major update that includes the following new features:

    — Quick lens picker: You can now switch lenses directly from the main camera UI on iPhones with wide aspect screens. No more diving into settings to switch between lenses! We’ve also revamped the camera menu under settings to include more information about each lens including the aperture and 35mm equivalent focal length.

    — Advanced CMS support: Under Settings > CMS > you now can access ‘Advanced’ CMS which allows you to adopt a file naming scheme found on traditional cinema cameras. This will help integrate FiLMiC Pro into more traditional workflows. Our previous CMS option is still there, and has just been rebranded as ‘Slate’.

    — Plenty of minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

Note: Quick lens picker unavailable on original iPhone SE and iPod Touch.
