Frame.io Camera to Cloud (C2C)

FiLMiC Pro is the first mobile application to add full support for Frame.io Camera to Cloud. Camera to Cloud by Frame.io is the fastest and easiest way to get footage from your camera to collaborators — anywhere in the world. Once logged in to your Frame.io account in FiLMiC Pro, after each recording you can generate a low-bandwidth proxy version of your clip and have it uploaded to the cloud. From there it becomes instantly available to your collaborators, wherever in the world they happen to be.

Camera to Cloud and FiLMiC Pro - Incredibly Useful for Two Key Workflows

  1. Firstly it means your footage is instantly available for review, allowing you to include key stakeholders remotely in the production as well as receive instant feedback on your shots via the Frame.io app.
  2. Secondly, your low bandwidth proxies can instantly appear in an edit timeline when using the Frame.io integration available in Premiere Pro, FCPX, or Davinci Resolve. This means that no matter where in the world your post team is located, they can be editing your project while it’s still being shot. Once the production has wrapped you can swap out your proxy media with the original high quality footage with just a few clicks!
